The medical team consists 10 of medical intensives permanent.
The medical and surgical specialties performed include:

- Obstetrician-gynecologist.
- Pediatrics
- Plastic surgery
- General surgery

A permanent medical presence is required 24/24 to safety and care of patients .This permanence is ensured jointly by medical doctors on specialized courses.
There is therefore daily meetings where doctors and nurses come together to ensure continuity of care, transmission of information including that which is given to families, in order to assure optimal care.
Nursing

→ The nursing team consists of about 16 people.
The main objective of the nursing Department has been and will remain, the delivery of quality nursing care based on a philosophy of care on respect for the human person,
'This priority fits into the overall frame work of PORT GHALIB HOSPITAL and into the various projects that have emerged on recent years.

3 to 6 nurses are present at different times 24/24 .They oversee, participate on the care of hospitalized patients in the service and manage elective admissions (surgical) and unplanned (emergency).
They also provide emergency medical assistance in intra-hospital (specific call in case of cardiac rest on particular)
The nursing team takes an active part in the life and evolution of the unit PORT GHALIB HOSPITAL.
